Dr. Salem Abu Khaizaran, a Palestinian medical doctor, was born in the winter of 1957 in the city of Tubas in the northern West Bank, and he resides today in the city of Nablus. In 1976, he completed his high school studies, and joined the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University and completed his degree in Medicine and General Surgery in 1981. Abu Khaizaran continued his education in the United Kingdom with a specialty and fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology, in addition to subspecialties in Laparoscopic Surgery and IVF.
Dr. Abu Khaizaran returned to Palestine in hope of making a difference in his field, which was evident by opening the first IVF center in Palestine in 1995 named Razan Specialized Center for Infertility and IVF Treatment.
A notable accomplishment by Dr. Salem Abu Khaizaran in Palestinian medicine was his establishment of the Arab Hospitals Group, which he currently holds the position of Chairperson of the Board of Directors. Under its umbrella are the Arab Specialized Hospital in Nablus, the Arab Istishari Hospital in the Rayhan suburb north of Ramallah, and Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin.
Dr. Salem Abu Khaizaran holds several other significant positions. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Al-Quds Open University, Head of the Regional Office of the Arab Union for Humanitarian Action and Sustainable Development / Palestine, member of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Council for Creativity and Excellence, member of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission, member of The Board of Directors of the Palestine Islamic Bank, member of the Board of Directors of Birzeit Pharmaceutical Company, and he is the President of the Palestinian Society for Fertility and Genetics. As well between the years of 2014-2020, Dr. Salem Abu Khaizaran held the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arab American University, one of the most important Palestinian universities. He was also the President of the Palestinian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 2010 to 2012.
In 2014, His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas awarded Dr. Salem Abu Khaizaran the medal of Merit and Excellence, in recognition of his humanitarian work and his significant role in supporting and developing health services in Palestine.

In September 2022, Mr. Atiyeh assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital (ISH). With more than 13 years of experience in senior leadership roles, he brings extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of medical services. Previously, he served as the CEO of Specialized Arab Hospital in Nablus and Istishari Arab Hospital in Ramallah. He also served as a board member at Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital in Jenin. Before joining ISH, Mr. Atiyeh worked as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young (EY) International for duration of 9 years.

As the CEO, Mr. Atiyeh assumes overall leadership and provides strategic direction to all departments within the hospital. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the hospital's operations, as well as the formulation and execution of long-term growth plans. Under his guidance, the hospital has undergone expansion and has earned a commendable reputation for delivering high-quality services to its patients.

Mr. Atiyeh holds a degree in accounting from An-Najah University in Palestine. Additionally, he holds a Master's degree in Accounting with honors from the Arab Academy of Banking and Financial Sciences in Amman, Jordan. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the Arab American University.
Prior to joining Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital, Mr. Mhameed held several positions in the health sector such as Quality Officer, Head Nurse, and Registered Nurse. Worked at the Istishari Arab Hospital - Ramallah, Saad Specialized Hospital – KSA, Alwatani Governmental Hospital - Nablus, Arab Specialized Hospital – Nablus, and Arab Medical Center – Jordan.

Mr. Mhameed graduated from the Faculty of Nursing of Jordan University of Science and Technology – Jordan. Completed his Master’s Degree in Policies and Health Management Quality, and Patient Safety from Al-Quds University - Palestine. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from NAHQ.

Mr. A’mar was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the hospital in January 2021. He has more than 15 years of extensive management experience, including hospital services. He had previously held Chief Financial Officer positions at Specialized Arab Hospital Group in Palestine.
Mr. A’mar provides and develops the financial strategic direction in the hospital through formulating and analyzing budgets, and forecasts. He is overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting, in addition to assisting other financial units in the Arab group.
He is Managing the financial relationships with the related external parties such as the external auditors, Tax authorities, suppliers, and key clients (PMOH, MSS, Insurance companies)., and assisting the executive team in managing operational aspects in the hospital, such as inventory and procurement management, human resources management, information technology …etc
Mr. A’mar graduated from the Faculty of Finance on 6 October University. He holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Arab Academy in Egypt

Mr. Baraa has recently joined the hospital as a Chief Operating Officer, with over 17 years of extensive experience in healthcare management and administration in nursing, health education, strategic planning, and quality management. Prior to joining Ibn Sina Specialized hospital, Mr. Baraa was a nursing manager in Cancer Care and Transplantation at King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
He controls hospital operations and secures the functionality to drive extensive, sustainable, safe, and efficient healthcare services, Leading the hospital’s operational activities and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative solutions that are evidence-based in responding to the customers’ needs.
Mr. Baraa develops and implements hospital strategic plans and also oversees the day-to-day operations of the hospital such as purchasing, maintenance, sales, information technology, reception, archiving, marketing, logistic, warehousing, and Biomedical Engineering.
Mr. Baraa graduated from the Faculty of Nursing from Hashemite University - Jordan. He holds a Master's degree in Health and Hospital Administration from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He just joined the Ph.D. program in Public Health at Al-Quds university.

Mr. Fekry is our CNO Chief Nursing Officer, with over 22 years of wide experience in healthcare nursing practice and administration issues, 16 years in lovely serving people in hospital, he is very gratitude and had love for such a mazing experience. he always had an interest and passion for continuing his education and increase his knowledge in this field, and therefore it is not surprising that he has finished his Bachelor studies in nursing after having diploma in nursing through upgrade study then he started his PhD program to enhance his knowledge in nursing. Prior to joining Ibn Sina Specialized hospital, Mr. Fekry was a Cath Lab nurse and nursing director in Arab Specialty hospital from 2006 – 2020, during this period he was responsible for the supervision on the different wards of the hospital, also the different patient wards as general female and male surgery and gynecology units. He follows to Maintain an up to date knowledge of the hospital services. Participate in development the body of nursing knowledge through conducting research. Collaborate with other health disciplines to deliver nursing care in a variety of settings. Utilize the nursing process in delivering care to patients to ensure comprehensive care and Demonstrate the use of critical thinking in clinical decision making.
