Nutrition Department

The Nutrition Department at Ibn Sina Hospital is one of the most important specialized departments. It was established to provide therapeutic nutrition services to patients inside the hospital or to outpatients The Nutrition Department cooperates with medical and non-medical staff (doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, kitchens) in all departments of the hospital (pediatrics, internal medicine, orthopedics, surgery, cardiac department, intensive care unit, maternity department) in order to build a comprehensive therapeutic nutrition plan that suits each patient and his health condition throughout his stay in the hospital.

The therapeutic nutrition plan includes evaluating the disease and providing individual consultations and important nutritional advice through educational sessions and booklets given to the patient and his companions. In addition to preparing a special diet program for the patient throughout his stay in the hospital based on his health condition and in accordance with medical recommendations.

The Nutrition Department supervises all meals that are prepared inside the hospital kitchen during all its stages.
