The intensive cardiac care unit is dedicated to the care of heart patients with critical conditions, with a capacity of 8 beds. It is specialized in treating various heart diseases that require follow-up and intensive care, such as heart attacks, angina pectoris, and arrhythmias.
Cardiac surgeons and physicians at Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital have extensive experience treating people with complex and rare heart conditions. They also work with a team of physicians trained in several fields to determine the most appropriate treatment for a patient’s individual needs.
Medical Services
- Permanent follow-up of the heart rhythm by conducting an electrocardiogram (ECG).
- Cardiovascular catheterization.
- Provide care for people suffering from acute myocardial infarction, or cardiogenic shock.
- Provide care for patients who need a cardiac battery or pacemaker device.
- Provide care for patients with heart surgery.
- Diagnosis and treatment of crises and heart attacks that may occur due to:
– diabetes
– High blood pressure
– obesity
– smoking
– Excessive alcohol intake
– High blood cholesterol
– Malnutrition
